
Lilian Rose Smith is an emerging queer artist of Italian + Métis heritage.
An alumna of Emily Carr University of Art + Design, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Her artwork explores the theme of identity through a photographic-based practice and experimental work.
Lilian's works have been featured in multiple art exhibitions and film festivals around British Columbia.
At the young age of 16, she received an 'Early Teen Director's Filmmaking' award for a self-made short film.
She was also shortlisted for the 2019 Philip B. Lind Emerging Artist Prize at the highly esteemed Polygon Gallery.
Lilian is passionate about art restoration, reproduction through digital documentation, and fine art printing,
She has spent many years assisting artists digitize their works allowing them to safely archive and expand into the print market.

She currently works in the production side of visual effects, commonly in the VFX Production Coordinator role.
Additionally, Lilian is expanding her skill set by training in the VFX Set Ref Data Wrangler role.
